RigRoster
Privacy Policy
RigRoster doesn't collect your data. Your gear, wishlist and photos stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account, where only you can see them.
What RigRoster stores
Everything you enter: gear details, values, loans, locations, wishlist items, notes and photos. It's saved on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, in the private iCloud database for RigRoster under your Apple Account, so it can sync between your devices.
That iCloud data is private to your Apple Account. The developer can't see, access or download it. Apple stores it under the Apple Privacy Policy.
What RigRoster doesn't do
- No accounts or sign-in beyond your existing Apple Account.
- No analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs.
- No servers of our own: nothing you enter is sent to the developer.
- Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Camera and photos
RigRoster asks for camera or photo library access only when you add a photo of your gear. It uses just the photos you take or pick, resizes them, and stores them with that item. It doesn't browse or upload the rest of your library.
Links you add
If you save a product link on a wishlist item and tap it, it opens in your browser. That website's own privacy policy applies.
Deleting your data
Deleting an item in RigRoster deletes it from your devices and from iCloud. To remove all RigRoster data from iCloud, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage) → RigRoster. Deleting the app removes the data stored on that device.
Children
RigRoster doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
